Well yesterday i went and picked up the parts from MSY so i could build my new computer.
I have never built a computer from scratch before, so i was kind of nervous about blowing my last 700 dollars worth of equipment (thats AUS dollars).
Rookie, one of my mates from MyPSP.com.au helped me pick out all the parts.
3.11 GHz Processor
160Gb HDD
19" 2ms LCD Widescreen
2Gb DDR2 RAM
No GPU as of yet... :(
Cooler Master Elite Case (one of the most sexy cheap cases in the world may i add)
and some other shiz
All for $579 AUS
:D (if you want the full specs Comment)
So the main reason i got this PC is so i can play oblivion alot better. I know its old but its my favourite game, with Fable 1 closely followed.
Anyway, on a similar note. Windows 7 Beta was released recently. Anyone else get it. I am runnning it as my primary operating system and i must say, this is perfect (well.... almost) the way it is. And can i put out a note to every one using it. If you find a bug please report it! so that we get a better OS when it comes out finalised :D

Halo 3
Now... Halo 3 to me was always overrated. Halo was good, Halo 2 was meh, Halo 3 was... iffy?
This was the first game i owned with my 360. The guys at EB Games worked out an awesome deal for me, I have to admit, i was in on the hype for a while. Halo was praised to be the best game out there, and there I was believing it.
So i take my new 360 home and set up all the cables. I press the on button whilst dancing around the living room in girlish glee*, and put in Halo3. At the time i had a mate over and we campaigned on legendary all night (i was a respawn point :D). I loved it.
It took a little while to sink in that Halo3 wasn't all it was cracked up to be. The story line was nothing spectacular, and while the graphics were brilliant to me (i just moved up from a psp... gimme a break), it seemed to be lacking the brilliance that many internet reviewers had promised me.
So i played through the entire series, hoping to get something out of it. Halo 1 was still up there on my all time favourites list, so i enjoyed that. I moved onto Halo 2. Again... this one still doesn't do it for me. Halo 3, was alot better. But i still don't know if its just because i was determined to make it work for me.
One thing i will give Halo 3 though. Is it has great online. That and i love the mongooses... so jumpy...

Pongo's World
G'day Blogspot!
I'm Pongo... well not really its just an alias, I'm a regular over at MyPSP.com.au. To describe me in a sentence; I am a nerd. Not one of those nerdy nerds who all sit down together at lunch time and discuss there favourite character on super smashbrothers brawl. I'm more... a sporty nerd if there was one. Actualy, i believe the only thing that actualy makes me a nerd at all is that i am obsessed with video games and computers. Amazingly i still exercise. Not like comic book guy from the simpsons.
Well this is my world. On my blog i will be writing reviews, experiances, and just little other things.
Signing Off.
